About the event
Join us for a special Women’s Challah Bake, hosted by JMAO, where women from across the community come together to share in the timeless tradition of making challah dough. During this hour-long gathering, we will prepare the dough together, say the blessings, say a prayer for the safe return of the hostages, and the safety of the soldiers and people in Israel, and enjoy a meaningful time connecting as a community. The actual baking will take place in your own homes, allowing the warmth of the experience to continue as the challah rises in your ovens. Whether you're an experienced baker or a first-timer, this event is a chance to build bonds, share stories, and infuse the mitzvah of challah with spirituality and joy.
What to Bring: All ingredients and supplies will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm!
